Franchise Gator Names Farrah Kennedy Vice President of Operations
ATLANTA, Ga., June 9 -- Franchise Gator LLC, a dominant franchise lead generation and marketing company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Farrah Kennedy to Vice President of Operations.
The promotion of Farrah Kennedy follows a long association with CEO Kurt Robertson. Kennedy’s position at Franchise Gator was preceded by a similar four-year operational role in another Robertson-led lead generation IT company. Kennedy joined Robertson in 2002 to assist in the expansion of Franchise Gator from concept to market dominance, and has played an integral role in supporting growth through the development and management of key infrastructure.
Founded in 2001, Franchise Gator, www.franchisegator.com, was established to provide franchisors with a quality, yet cost-effective internet-based franchise lead generation service. Now in its fifth year of operation, FranchiseGator.com provides industry leadership with more than 550 clients – or “sponsors” as Franchise Gator prefers to call them. Farrah has focused on providing the operational infrastructure required to manage Franchise Gator’s spectacular growth in clients and site users. Her responsibilities involved managing an array of functions, including production, accounting and IT, and her performance has earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike. President Steve Syers noted, “We simply would not be the company we are today without her planning and vision. Farrah and the Operations team enable us to focus our energy on continuing our accelerated growth, safe in the knowledge our supporting systems and processes are first-rate.”
These sentiments were echoed by CEO Robertson, who commented, “Farrah has an uncanny ability to get results from IT, accounting and production; Farrah is the glue that holds Franchise Gator together.”
Kennedy’s elevation from Operations Manager to Vice President of Operations follows similar Franchise Gator preparations for achieving, and seamlessly managing, future growth. In May, Steve Syers was promoted to President while Kurt Robertson moved to full-time CEO.
Asked about the role, Kennedy noted, “I am very excited about my new position as Vice President of Operations. With Steve's promotion, and now mine, we can better focus our energies and strengths on taking the Gator to the next level.”
Kennedy looks forward to the challenges ahead as Franchise Gator seeks to double in size, following their already spectacular growth. CEO Kurt Robertson noted, “Farrah has the foresight to anticipate logistical obstacles and formulate solutions, before issues emerge.”
